For this reason, we have surrounded our own well trained Service Teams around our own call centre which is linked to various insurance companies and insurance brokers operating from the main centres of Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

As far as possible, we strive to provide a paperless (form free) service available through certain insurers via their linked emergency and geyser claim numbers.

Community Scheme Legislation requires that Trustees/Directors of schemes take reasonable steps to inform and educate himself or herself about the community scheme and take reasonable steps to obtain sufficient information about all matters in order to make informed decisions.

 

There can be no doubt that the hot water system and/or the geysers in the scheme are a major factor for community schemes, whether it be problematic, expensive, high maintenance, onerous on owners by way of electrical costs, high incidents of resulting damages.

Whether a maintenance cost problem, insurance claims ratio problem, ageing system, inappropriate system, we can engage with you and your client scheme executives with meaningful and professional advice. We have been providing bespoke solutions to schemes in a number of ways. These include structured polices with the schemes broker, emergency callouts, paperless geyser insurance claims (no claim forms or entries), call centre liaison with owners and insurers, scheme geyser WhatsApp group communication between management (trustees/estate management and our allocated teams). Being familiar with sectional title for example, we understand many of your challenges and we are able to assist YOU with our understanding of the industry and its nuances, need for fast service, reduce paperwork, extra care (example, small important things like clean ups and replacement of slats on ducts). Our own geyser plumbing teams are backed up with resulting damage repair teams – one stop service.

 

As we work with the main community scheme insurers and underwriting managers such as CIA, CIB and Santam Real Estate, among others, you as managing agent can offer our services without being in conflict with the Property Practitioners Act where managing agents may have issues recommending certain suppliers (Section 58).

 

Financing for larger hot water-related or solar projects can also arranged, coupled with advice from leading sectional title consultants insofar as the various legalities are concerned with decisions around “going solar” and so on.

 

We can also offer YOU extra resources such as reporting, audits at schemes, attendance to longer term problems and coaching. We will liaise with YOUR preferred broker or insurer.

YOU as Insurance Broker

 

We understand the challenges that face insurance advisors in the hot water installation space. We would like to partner with YOU.

 

Our objective is that YOU receive compliments after we have serviced your client. We have based our broker model on that offered by glass windscreen service providers – a hassle free claim system – call, fix and done. Paperless as far as possible.

 

We are working closely with the leading community scheme insurers, administrators and UMAs to achieve this. For example, our systems are linked to certain insurer’s systems and apps so that salient information such as excess, limits etc. are already at hand after a claim is registered or logged on the insurer’s system. Completely paperless.

 

YOU are assured that our own well-trained plumbers attend to YOUR client i.e., not just another call centre with outsourced plumbers. Also, no extra layer of call-centre costs – all in-house.

 

YOU can structure YOUR client’s policy to cater for OUR OWN WATERLITE 444 stainless steel geyser ensuring future longevity (10-year warranty), no or low maintenance, no anode needed, better fitment of parts and essentially factory fitted (our own teams), no warranty issues.

 

Where YOU are an outsource broker and attend to your own geyser claims, we can assist with providing YOU and YOUR CLIENTS with a similar one-stop service for geyser claims.

 

Our core business is to install the WaterLite range of water heaters, however we will fit any reputable geyser with the same attention to detail and professionalism as we would do with a WaterLite. Given the rise in alternative heating modalities we can certainly take care of your client’s solar water heaters, heat pumps or gas geysers. As specialists, we will attend meetings / zoom meetings with your client’s where needed and offer coaching and audits in respect of not water systems.

We have been working with insurers for many years in the solar manufacture, distribution and installation space and more recent years with our longer lasting (10-year warranty) and cost-effective stainless steel electric geyser, low or no maintenance and greener in a number of ways. We repair and install all types of geysers at below average market prices.

 

We are not only a call centre operation but provide full geyser services by our own specialist and well-trained teams. We also provide resulting damages repair services. Our costings are usually well within limits and low. This is primarily because of our manufacturing and procurement advantages, our own plumbing teams (no middle-men or out sourcing). We can integrate with YOUR systems and VAPs.

 

We have proven with supporting statistics and claims history that 0861Waterlite, particularly in respect of community schemes, tends to immediately positively impact on claims history (reduced number of replacements due to honesty factor) and over the longer term, reduce future repeat claims (both replacements and resulting damages) with our much longer lasting 444 stainless steel products. Our teams are properly equipped and experienced in working at heights in many cases eliminating the need for extra scaffolding and/or unnecessary damages to ceilings and structures. We also have solutions for those difficult to fit new class-B geysers in tight spaces.
