Pressure release valves: What is the general anticipated lifespan and what is the recommended intervals to replace PRV’s. Some plumbing providers want to replace these when installing new geysers and this is a debatable practice. However, how do insurers feel about such installations of PRV or otherwise when installing new geysers? ie: do they (underwriter) think it is best and recommended practice – or not?
